Who it is for

First-time operators and small partners who already ordered machines or will within the next month. You should be comfortable with basic electrical safety; we teach mining-specific habits from there.

What you walk away with

A commissioning checklist, annotated photos of correct cable dress, a sample maintenance log, and the confidence to power a short rack without improvising breaker loads.

Scope

Included on the bench

Workshop tools laid out beside electronic equipment

Included: instructor time, shared training ASICs and PSUs, ear protection, anti-static mats, printed checklist pack, light lunch both days, and a 30-minute follow-up call within two weeks.

Not included: purchase of your own machines, warehouse lease advice beyond the classroom examples, firmware custom builds, or board-level soldering. Repair-shop referrals are shared when a unit needs more than operator-level care.

Provider: sessions are led by Tool Cedarline Mining Academy instructors at 41/25 Moo 5 Bangkhunthian-Longtalay Road Samaedam.

Process

How the two days run

  1. Day one morning — power and placement

Measure intake clearance, choose shelf orientation, confirm PSU pairing, and map breakers for a four-machine example rack.

  2. Day one afternoon — first boot

Flash stock firmware paths we endorse for classroom units, set pools, and capture baseline hash and temperature readings.

  3. Day two morning — maintenance habits

Clean filters, inspect fans, reseat a hashboard under guidance, and fill a weekly maintenance log you can reuse at home.

  4. Day two afternoon — scenarios

Walk through brownout recovery, overheating alarms, and when to shut down versus when to call a repair shop in Thailand.

Preparation

Wear closed shoes. Bring model numbers of machines you own or ordered. Optional: photos of your intended room or shed so instructors can comment during breaks.

Constraints

English-led sessions with Thai clarifications available. Hearing protection required near running units. We pause outdoor exhaust demos during heavy rain for safety.

Pricing basis

Published rate starts at ฿12,800 per person for open cohorts. Private coaching for up to four people is quoted separately on the rates page.
